We aim to do everything we can to help save the world while catering for your every hair desire. We believe that great hair should not actively help destroy our planet; we are all able to look and feel great without compromise. Dogobees is a space where everything we can do to be environmentally friendly is done.<\/span><\/p>\n

It starts with our eco heads, these filter our water, give high pressure but with minimal water usage. Next up, all our salon waste goes to The Green Salon Collective, including hair that impressively gets repurposed into all sorts of things, such as hair booms that then go off to soak up oil spills in the ocean. We also have the honour of currently being York\u2019s only Oway salon, a range that is not only cruelty free, 99% plastic free and vegan but it is also biodynamically organic. Oway doesn’t compromise its products or the earth, it looks after your scalp and hair while ensuring our planet is preserved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dogobees is on a journey to become fully inclusive, your hair type, how your brain works, what gender you identify as, nothing will stop us from doing our best to make you feel amazing. We proudly offer silent appointments for anyone that wants to take time out of their hectic lives and just sit, soak up the environment and reset. If you are neurodivergent or have any SEN that means you would benefit from popping in to meet your stylist first, you can pop in for a cuppa and a casual chat so you can get to know your surroundings and familiarise yourself with what’s going to happen. We can also offer a quiet salon day\/time appointment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
